The other day you were reaching for something sharp and MiMi said in Chinese, "You can't!" (M-thuck) and you responded in Chinese, "I Can!" (Thuck). It was hilarious. You crack us up!! (14 months old)

A Beautiful Heart

We went to visit Tai Poh today at the Villa Assisted Care. You warmed all of the old ladies hearts! You walked around saying "Hi" and blowing kisses. You really made their day. On the drive home, I thought to myself..."the nurses were right when they took the ultrasound and said you had a beautiful heart!" I pray that you stay as sweet as can be and uplift others spirits.

Happy 1st Birthday Pretty Princess! Daddy and I threw you a party at Chuck E Cheeses. Your theme was "Birthday Princess". You had a tiara, sash, princess cake, the whole shabang! Aunt Kiki made you a poster collage of pictures showing your first year of memories. It was fun for everyone to look at. Boy did you enjoy the pizza! You also liked the blue elephant ride. I cannot believe a year has already flown by. Seems like yesterday, we were bringing you home from the hospital. Slow down Sweetpea, don't grow too fast.

AVAroni the San Francisco Treat

We took you on your very first vacation to San Francisco for Tai Gong's 90th birthday celebration. You were so well behaved on the plane ride. Mommy was expecting you to cry from the cabin pressure hurting your ears but you didn't cry once! In fact, I was whining about the pain more than you. Daddy and I took pictures with you in front of Golden Gate Bridge, Prison of Alcatraz, and Fisherman's Wharf. You ate lots of good food that you wouldn't drink your bottle. At the party, Tai Gong was the guest of honor but YOU were the StAr. Everyone raved about how cute you are. You even had a whole table cracking up laughing because you kept patting Tai Gong's bald head while we were trying to take a picture. It was hilarious!

These feet were made for walking...

How exciting!! You're 11 months and already walking! Mommy and Aunt Ber got to witness you take your first few steps. You fell but then got right back up. Mommy and Daddy are going to be shopping for a baby gate real soon for the stairway. More baby proofing to come...

On the go...

You are definitely on the move these days. Around 6 months you were one big roley poley, just a rollin' around to get to where you wanted. At 7 months, you began crawling and now at 8 months you are pulling yourself up to the standing position. You are one little baby on a mission. Your facial expressions always appear inquisitive and curious, ready to discover the world and get into anything and everything in sight!

"Momma!"

Just as I predicted, your first word was "Momma!" At 7 1/2 months you're already beginning to talk. You don't quite know what you are saying because you call everything and everyone Momma, but you do in fact say it over and over again. Nonetheless, it warms my heart everytime I hear it. Mmmuaw, love you Sweetpea!

A diamond is a girl's best friend...

Aunt Ber had a special request to have her ears pierced with you as her 26th birthday gift. I'm sure that it wasn't as exciting for you as it was for us. You cried for a few seconds and then it was over. You look beautiful with those little diamond studs in your itty bitty ears.
